“As you guys know, I’m not passionate about the broker channel because that’s what I’m in, right – and I’m with you guys!
I’m passionate because it’s the best place for consumer to go, and the best place for loan officer to work, and I KNOW THIS!
I could easily, 10 years ago say I’m going to go and be with retail, but retail doesn’t make sense, because it’s not as good for a consumer or the loan officer.
So, when I’m talking to a retail loan officer, what I’d love to show them is I think the opportunity…
Although … Of course I like the rates at two and half too! We all do real well, but when rates go up a little bit, what happens is those guys at the retail loan officer shop, they now see there’s a major disparity between retail and wholesale pricing first, second they don’t have 42 loans in the pipeline anymore and now they’re actually looking around, so this is a great time to recruit but what I would also like to talk to them about is the technology and service you can provide to consumers is superior at NEXA than is at any retail lender. I don’t think that, I KNOW THAT!
Whether they are at guaranteed rate or loan depot or pick any big retail lender in the country, you have a superior technology platform for them, and there is out there closing loans in 9, 11, 7, 12 days at great rates with great service that you guys can provide, so showing them what you can do, … everyone tells you I got great service, come work at my company, when you can actually SHOW them, look CTC in 7 days, CTC in 9 days, CTC in 11 days, look… you click one button and you run DU and LPA at the same time, here’s the rates we’re offering, where’re you at? Show them the jumbo, show them there’s no reason to not be at the broker shop, no reason not to be part of NEXA.
That’s what I believe IN, and I’ll support them and everyone that wants to talk to me, I’ll tell them the truth.
